I was just saying to Elizabeth the other day that I didn't have many Valentine images and today while I was weeding out a box of vintage cards...I found some. Please feel free to enjoy them!
It is rainy and gloomy in Pittsburgh today. It's a perfect day to stay inside and work on some Valentine projects while endless football is on the TV. This week I hope to have a lot to show you.
Oh what great Valentines. I think I may have been with you when you purchased some of these :) I have saved every one and can't wait to use them in a project. Hope you got lots done today on the most rainy day. Can't wait to see :) xoxoxo Mimi~
Thank you so much for the adorable vintage valentines. Looks like you had a wonderful birthday extravaganza week. That sugar cookie sure does look yummy! Mimi
Oh, it does my heart good, to see all the fun (not to mention the love) you had on your birthday. Thanks for sharing it all with us. LOVE the kisses-topiary-tree. : ) And thank you for sharing these delightful V-Day images with us. You had asked if I made the tag in my header. Yes, I did. Thanks for noticing. : ) It took me hours though (last year). I'm just not a FAST crafter at all. But I sure enjoy it. Have a good day, Joyce. Mary Lou
Oh Joyce, these are so precious and some of them remind me of the little cards we filled out for classmates in elementary school. Talk about a trip down Memory Lane! Thanks for sharing!
Joyce, What a wonderful birthday you had. A sweet tooth???? Me too! Love peppermint bark. I always think of you when I see vintage postcards at the antique mall. I love the ones that you have come across. I would love to do a tag swap with altered images - one day! Thank you for the Sputnik diner memory - what a classic! Fun days we've had! Elizabeth
Just found your blog and had to tell you how nice your Valentine collection is. I especially love the cat card. Makes me think of one I bought years ago. I posted it on my blog last year. It's a mechanical card and quite large, approximately 9" tall. You can see it here:
I am new to your blog. I love these images. I teach young children at church and we make cards for older people and for those in our community who are alone or sick. These images will help us so very much. Thank-you...m...
