We're back and it's give-away time!

Who do you think was more exhausted after this visit...Papa or Charlie????
We are back from our trip to stay with our grandson, Charlie, and I have much to say and show but first I want to announce a blog give-away! Anyone posting a comment to this blog post will be eligible to win some vintage goodies! I couldn't decide whether to have a vintage prize or a Halloween-themed prize so I decided to do the vintage treats first and the Halloween things will come a little later. Please leave a comment (and for those of you who read the blogs but are not registered...it's an easy process to register to be able to leave a comment) and a name will be drawn on Sunday evening, August 31. I am still gathering items for the drawing but I can tell you that it will not include the little red car...sorry Laurie...although it is kind of vintage (and so is the driver, but I digress) It will include an item that I purchased at this wonderful store...

and I will post more about that in the next few days. The Cottage was even better than I imagined and Linda, one of the two owners, couldn't have been more gracious. She allowed me to take pictures in the store (12 rooms!!!!!). It was delightful!

But back to the contest. I will post some pictures of the prizes in the next day or two. While we were at Charlie's I managed to get a bug that he had when we first got there. It knocked me out for a few days and I'm just getting back up to speed.

Soooooo, all of this rambling will end for now to give you a chance to enter. I hope to hear from you...good luck!

Yea! A give-away...what fun!
But too bad about the little red car.

The peek at "the cottage" was so inviting ~ can't wait to see more of it! I wish we had some fun shops like that near me.

The photo of Charlie and his papa is so sweet...grandbabies are wonderful!

Put me in the drawing, please, fairy goddiemother! Hope you are feeling better soon! Did Dad remember to send you the photo of my bird quilt before they went away? Let me know when your fall boutique is going to be, I'm working on some new items....

Charlie looks so comfortable and safe in Papa's arms. That is one LOVED little boy. I can't wait to see all of the goodies you found at the cottage. I think we all need to take a road trip. You know kind of like Themla and Louise x4. I'll be counting the days until the 31st and keeping my fingers crossed.
Love,
Mimi

I agree with Mimi we need a Thelma & Louise trip to some places like the cottage. Yeah goodies! I'm so hunting for a cool headboard for that bench picture you sent.

Aw! I'm sorry to hear that you got sick over your trip. What a bummer. :( Both my son and daughter have a cold now, too. I hate colds. Blah.
I love seeing pictures of Charlie. He is obviously so loved by all of you and that is what children are for - to be loved. He is a lucky boy!
I'm glad you're back to tell us of your travels - and a giveaway too, eh? You are ambitious. So it's not a red sportscar? :) Ha. I'm glad you had such a good time!
