A Swap For All Seasons...December...Green

I am participating in a fun, monthly swap that started in October of this year.
is a swapping blog, designed and maintained by Linda Smith...hostess extraordinaire!
Each month we are assigned someone to design a card and a tag for and also send one destash item.
Likewise, someone (not the person you are sending to) will be making and sending items to you. It's easy and lots of fun and I'm meeting some really talented women.
The interesting part is that there is a theme and a color each month to make it challenging . If you were ever interested in getting your feet wet with a swap, this is the one to start with. Hop on over to the blog and read about it. All of the guidelines are there. Just click on the link in my first paragraph.
The next sign-up is December 1st (and just for that day!) and  the theme will be
Thinking of You and the color...my favorite...blue.
The Theme for December was Happy Holidays and the color was green.
My partner was the sweet and crafty (in a good way)
Susie Alles of  South City Hues. Susie has been my partner before and I loved creating for her.
The card I made...
.

Susie's favorite color is green...made it easy!
The tag...

Ice skate image, cut twice and used to make the skates and some of the holly leaves dimensional.
Except for the background papers, all of the elements of the card and the tag were digital. Of course, glitter was involved and a little paper rose on the card...

For the destash, I sent a big bunch of lovely dark green vintage seam binding and some other papers that I failed to photograph. All wrapped and ready to go...

(lunch bag, doilies and green garden twine from Home Depot!

Every month...so much fun...love this swap!

Happy Thanksgiving

Come, you thankful people come
Raise the song of harvest home.
All is safely gathered in
Ere the winter storms begin.
God, our maker, does provide
For our wants to be supplied.
Come to God's own temple, come,
Raise the song of harvest home.

Wishing you God's richest Blessings
at Thanksgiving and always.

Final Craft Show Pictures...Picture Heavy...Grab a Cup of Coffee/Tea and at least 2 Cookies!

YIKES!
I am so far behind with posting, visiting and commenting. I've had some orders to finish and because we will be celebrating Christmas with some of our family at Thanksgiving, there have been gifts to make or shop for and wrap. I promised I'd show some more photos from the craft show so here they are with no words. (Really, really hard for me to do!) If you have any questions about anything...just leave a comment! I have several things left if you are interested.
REMEMBER: you can click on any photo to enlarge.

Sorry...just a note...all of the collage boards are 8X8 inches. This next one is my favorite one. I almost kept it but a good friend picked it out for her Granddaughter so I let it go...

I love the pink and aqua and lime...
The banner version...

teacher themed clipboard

My table (and wall) at the show...

Some of the orders to fill after the show...

OK then, now you know why you didn't see me for a while.

Several bloggers have commented that there aren't as many people commenting these day and I think that's true.Everyone is busier at this time of year than at any other time and I know that for me, sometimes I will look at someone's post but not take the time to leave a comment. I'm trying to improve on that because I know how much comments mean to any blogger. Many of us are also on Facebook and Pinterest (a time killer if there ever was one!!) We don't want bloggers to give up on their blogs...that has happened to several of my favorites and I miss them. Please remember to leave a comment when you visit...not just here but on anyone's blog. I always love to know when you've stopped by for a visit.

My next post will feature a giveaway featuring something that I've made and a little extra something so please stop back to sign up!

Thank you for stopping by!

In the interest of being honest...this is what my craft room liked the day after the show.
Craftermath...the remains of too many craft projects going on in one place at the same time!
