A Swap for All Seasons asked us to include a Vintage Valentine, a handmade item and something sweet in our package. My partner is my blogging friend, Linda Smith. Linda is also the mastermind behind all of the Swap for All Seasons swaps. She is extremely organized and has this swap partner thing perfected...I've never been matched up with someone that I didn't have a heap of fun with. If you are ever tempted to participate in a swap...this would be the one to do. Some time this week she will be announcing the next Swap so you can read about it here. OK-here is a little sneek peek for Linda...
The other swap is being hosted by Cathy Scalise and it is the first swap she has organized. It is the Amour Valentine Swap and I think over 60 people joined in. (The link is on my sidebar) I will show you a peek for my swap partner Lisa, but we can't reveal all of our projects until Valentine's Day so you'll just have to come back then to see the rest of the things I sent. We were to decorate a box, heart-shaped or not, with a Valentine theme and then fill it with goodies for our partner. This is the first time I've met Lisa so I hope she like the things I've made and gathered for her. Here is Lisa's peek...
I'm sorry to be so mysterious but that's the nature of the swap business.
This Saturday, a friend is coming for lunch and I thought having her come over
would be the incentive to reorganize and clean up the studio.....
I think I'm in trouble....what do you think?
Until next time friends.....

Hi Joyce,
Looks like you have made some great swap gifts!!!
I love the look in your craft room!!! Don't clean a thing.
Happy weekend.
Deb :)
Oh, I can hardly stand the suspense!!! I can tell already that your little creations are wonderful! Share with us THE MINUTE you can. : ) Thank you for the compliments on my display. I got my Santos figurine online from Ballard Designs. Do you ever get their catalogs? Wonderful!! I've had her for a little over a year now, but I think they still carry her.
Oh, and thank you SO MUCH for sharing the "keeping it real" photos with us. You made my day!! Believe me...my studio has yours beat. : )
Have a good day,
M.L.
Joyce, you're a woman after my own heart. You throw yourself into projects and keep the focus there....until something makes you stop and clean up!
It's nice to see you have a space to craft though. That is a blessing!
The Valentine swap sounds like fun. Great vintage Valentines in the post below.
Jennifer
A lovely swap peek. Looks to be exciting for all involved. At least your craft supplies are just in one room. I've got them scattered all over the house. Wish I had someone to organize with me! Good luck.

Just found your blog and enjoyed looking through your posts. My dining room looks like your studio... I understand :)
I think to be creative you have to be a little messy. It's a law or something. Can't wait to see all the creations. Mimi
Joyce, your swap peeks are lovely! And what to say about your studio! It seems to be huge! That table is wonderful the way it is! Maybe you could have your friend scrapping with you instead of clearing out! LOL
Have a great week-end!

Oh a messy scrap room is a bad thing???? (heheheh) I think that is a sign of a true artist. Any way that's my story and I'm stick'n to it :)
I am so glad that I got to see your beautiful swap gifts before you sent them. Your partners are going to LOVE them!!!
Hope you had a great time at lunch today

Looks like you have been busy in the studio. Too bad we can't just create and everything would just be clean automatically! I will check back to see your swapping later.
Joyce, What fun to have a glimpse at all your creative goodies! It's paradise! Your Valentine swap is so beautiful and elegant. The ribbon alone with the bird is enough to make you not want to even open what lays beyond. I need to turn off my "cute" switch. Loved this post! Elizabeth
Loved the little peeks! Especially that postcard for Lisa! How pretty is that!!
About your studio ~ it looks well loved! I hope you showed it off!
